Fall Colors

Ok, East Tennessee ( Smoky Mountains) are finally turning some really pretty fall colors.

You all just have to some see them! Went riding today up the mountain and it was awesome!

Some yellows, orange and bright red. Red is my favorite and some years they are better than others. They are a bit late but I think the cold weather we had sure made them pop out pretty.

Fall is the best time to ride.There are no bugs, heat or yellow jackets! The horses love it and are always more energetic to get out there and have fun! Some groups like to trot and canter and others just want to see the pretty leaves. Either way you will have a great time.

You can come and just ride or stay in one of our neat cabin/private units or a room in the traditional b&b.

Beautiful Cool Mornings/Evenings in the Smokys

We been having the BEST weather! Cool (60-70) in the evening and mornings........the best kind of weather for horseback riding, fishing, hiking or just sleeping in with the windows open listening to all the nature sounds.

My most favorite thing is to get all the chores done, sit on the front porch( in a rocker) and enjoy the awesome mountain view and watch the horses munch. What more could a person want!?

If my guests are not off sightseeing, then we rock, munch and share stories of the adventures of the day.

The most awesome firefly show is going on right now, here in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, only a short distance from the Twin Valley Horse Ranch!
Elkmont Campground area are will be closed to traffic until June 15 so that visitors can catch a trolly and experience this most amazing site. There are only a couple of places is the whole world where mating fireflies will put on this act. The area is very beautiful with the river and a wide trail where you can set up your chairs and drinks and enjoy the show.

They only preform for a couple of weeks so make your plans now!
